Cathedral City Historical Society

In 1998, the newly built Civic Center was dedicated.  The development sought to revitalize the downtown area of Cathedral City, along Highway 111.

 

The new plaza includes, not only City Hall, but offices, shops, theaters, restaurants, and landscaped, open spaces.  The artfully designed fountain is centrally located for the community's enjoyment.
